TELL US ABOUT YOUR HEALTH AND FITNESS JOURNEY?
My health and fitness journey has always been one that has been up and down like so many other people. At times I have been really fit, whilst other times severely overweight. Around 2014 I had blown out and hit rock bottom when I was asked what my weight was before going on a waterslide at Dreamworld. I decided that this was not who I was going to be and started going to the gym each morning because it would give me more energy throughout the day. I absolutely fell in love with waking up and training and find that it is key to putting me in a good place for the day ahead. My perfect day would always start with a training session.
WHAT KEEPS YOU MOTIVATED IN THE GYM?
I am constantly setting myself new goals in the gym. The fitter you are, the more you get out of life. I want to be the best version of myself every day.
WHAT ACCREDITATIONS DO YOU HAVE?
Degree in Sports Management, Certificate 3 & 4 in Fitness. Currently completing a Diploma in Nutrition as well as Level 1 Strength and Condition Course.
THERE ARE SO MANY PERSONAL TRAINIERS OUT THERE, WHAT SETS YOU APART?
The focus and attention I give to my clients whilst training them. Personalising each program to suit their needs whilst also supporting and coaching them through each of their workouts so that they can be the best that they can be. I always believe that it is important to keep things fun whilst we are training as well so I try to be creative with my workouts, rather than just having a client run on a treadmill for 45 minutes.
WHAT’S THE BEST PIECE OF FITNESS ADVICE YOU HAVE EVER RECEIVED?
Consistency is the key. In my own journey I started to get results when I started to train consistently. Working out first thing in the morning made me feel great and that’s what helped me stick to the training. My perfect day now would always start with a training session followed by a nice coffee.
HOW DO YOU KEEP YOUR CLIENTS MOTIVATED?
You always need to have energy whilst you are training people so first and foremost it would be to create a positive vibe with your clients. Building relationships, being upbeat and coming up with new workouts each week are all key to this.
Secondly I keep them motivated by coaching them. Making sure they are getting out of their comfort zones, showing them correct technique, keeping them accountable and by setting them targets to reach every workout.
WHAT’S YOUR POST WORKOUT ROUTINE?
As I train in the morning I always like to have a nice coffee after my training session – its like my reward. I would also have a berry and almond milk smoothie with protein as well for breakfast.

Our 8 week online programs are designed to get you feeling fit and healthier. Over the course of the 8 weeks you will receive 3 workouts via video to complete per week as well as meal plans.

Brodie is based in Shepparton, Victoria and has a small PT studio which he uses to train his clients. Offering sessions 45 mins long they are a sure-fire way to take your fitness to the next level. 1:1

Brodie is available to run face to face group sessions for your business, school or sporting group. These session range from Boxing, Fitness Games to P.E Style team building sessions. These programs aim to increase fitness, boost staff camaraderie and initiate teamwork between your staff members.
